Customs Entry Specialist Jamaica, NY | $24–$30/hr + Bonuses + Benefits An established international freight forwarding and customs brokerage company is hiring a Customs Entry Specialist for its onsite operation near JFK Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customs clearance, import, freight forwarding, or logistics experience who is fluent in Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese and wants to grow within international logistics and customs brokerage. What You’ll Be Doing Prepare and process import, export, and customs documentation Support customs clearance and cargo release Classify imported goods using tariff and HTS codes Assist with duty and tariff calculations Track shipments from arrival through final delivery Confirm customs clearance and freight availability Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, CFS warehouses, truckers, customers, and internal teams Provide customers with timely shipment and delivery updates Resolve documentation, customs clearance, and freight-release issues What We’re Looking For At least one year of customs brokerage, customs clearance, freight forwarding, import, or logistics experience preferred Related education in international business, supply chain, transportation, or logistics may be considered Fluency in at least one of the following languages is required: Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese Fluent written and spoken English Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines Comfortable working onsite full-time in Jamaica, NY 11413 Compensation and Benefits Up to $30/hr Annual bonus Performance bonus Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) with company matching Paid vacation and personal days MOHR Talent is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
