Position Summary:

The Cath Lab Technologist assists in performing imaging studies in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, utilizing critical thinking skills and clinical judgment to support patient care and procedural excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Duties

• Follow Cath Lab protocols and department guidelines
• Ensure compliance with facility and departmental policies
• Participate in outcomes management, including ACC NCDR PCI registry data entry
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings and weekends (may exceed 50% of staffing depending on location)

Teamwork & Collaboration

• Communicate effectively in a team environment
• Assist in training and mentoring staff in Cath Lab procedures
• Support cardiac services, including pre/post-operative care, non-invasive testing, and patient monitoring
• Provide operational support including supply management, charge reconciliation, quality control, and lab cleanliness

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
• Graduate of an accredited school or training program
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Certified Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• Current BLS & ACLS Certifications (American Heart Association or equivalent)
