Job Description

Controls Engineer with a passion for industrial automation and continuous learning. In this role, you will design, program, troubleshoot, and commission industrial control systems for a variety of manufacturing environments while supporting innovative automation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, troubleshoot, and optimize electrical control systems and circuits.
Develop and test PLC, HMI, and robotics programming.
Lead system startup and commissioning at customer sites.
Work directly with customers to ensure systems meet technical and operational requirements.
Manage multiple projects to meet timelines and budgets.
Provide technical support and maintain accurate project documentation.

Qualifications:

Experience with PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and industrial control systems; Rockwell and Fanuc experience preferred.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, EPlan, or similar electrical design software.
Understanding of NEC, ANSI, and UL electrical standards and industrial safety circuits.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
2+ years of related controls engineering experience preferred.
