The Electrical Foreman will lead crews in executing low-voltage inside-wireman work, focusing on the installation and termination of new electrical infrastructure. This role involves working hands-on with 415 V and 480 V systems, including switchgear, busway, PDU/UPS, MSBs, and grounding. The position is primarily involved in industrial and data-center construction rather than operating-plant tasks, with responsibilities to pull, land, and energize new equipment from drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews in executing LV inside-wireman work.

• Install and terminate new electrical infrastructure: conduit, cable tray, underground duct bank, cable, wire, and 480 V building and feeder work.

• Follow lockout/tagout and grounding procedures.

• Support first energization of new 480 V systems.

• Install and commission medium-voltage systems at 12.47 kV, 13.8 kV, and 34.5 kV.

• Mobilize with project teams to active construction sites.

• Install e-house medium-voltage switchgear (MVSG), generator step-up transformers (GSUs), 15 kV and 35 kV cable, and duct bank.

• Support hipot/VLF testing and work adjacent to live campus buses.

Essential Skills

• State journeyman license.

• Minimum of 5 years of industrial or data-center construction experience.

• Hands-on experience with 415 V and/or 480 V systems.

• Documented experience with 15 kV and/or 35 kV terminations.

• Proficiency in MV switching/clearance and OSHA 1910.269, plus NFPA 70E and LOTO.

• Ability to read construction drawings, one-lines, manuals, and work packages.

• Proficiency with common electrical test tools (multimeter, megger, ammeter) and construction hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in the field.

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights and in confined spaces.

• Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and extended shifts during construction and energization.

• Ability and willingness to travel 80% or more on a construction rotation; per diem and/or housing provided while on site.

Work Environment

This is an hourly position with overtime opportunities. The role requires 80% or more travel on a rotation, with a $160/day per diem. The work environment is dynamic and involves substantial hands-on physical construction work, including installation and commissioning of medium-voltage systems. The position is based in Southaven, MS, with expectations to work in various conditions, including outdoors in all weather.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
