Staff Accountant - Marina Operations (On-Site) Location: Charlestown, MA

This on-site position focuses on bank reconciliations and the accounts payable cycle , ensuring accurate financial records and timely payments to support day-to-day marina operations. This on-site position focuses on bank reconciliations and the accounts payable cycle , ensuring accurate financial records and timely payments to support day-to-day marina operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations .
- Manage the accounts payable cycle from invoice processing to payment.
- Record and post journal entries related to AP and bank activity.
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate records to support audits and internal controls.
- Collaborate with operations staff to ensure proper transaction coding.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in service, hospitality, or marina operations.
- Strong experience with bank reconciliations and accounts payable .
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Netsuite, or similar) and Excel.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in an on-site role .
- Successful completion of a background screening including employment verification, reference checks and a credit check.
