We are seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Developer with a strong background in cloud computing and financial services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions using Snowflake in a cloud environment. Additionally, experience with Angular and Python is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architectures using Snowflake on cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure optimal data models.
- Optimize and fine-tune Snowflake databases to improve performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Integrate Snowflake with various data sources, ETL processes, and third-party applications.
- Develop, implement, and maintain data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow and integrity.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in data security and governance.
- Utilize Angular to build front-end applications and Python for backend development when necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, QA, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers and team members.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a Snowflake Developer or in a similar role within the financial services industry.
- Extensive experience with Snowflake and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning.
- Experience with ngular for front-end development and Python for scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with financial data and regulatory requirements within the financial services sector.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on delivering quality results.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and experience integrating Client models within Snowflake.
- Certification in Snowflake or cloud platforms is a plus.
