Inventory Management Coordinator (Mid-Shift)

Shift hours will be: 3:00pm-11:30pm (or until completion) Monday-Friday. Must be flexible to work overtime as necessary due to business needs. What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements. Job Summary The Coordinator Inventory Management is responsible for tracking and managing inventory accuracy of products. This job processes returns and recalls related to distributed products and fills out necessary paperwork as needed. The Coordinator, Inventory Management plays a critical role in ensuring customer orders are filled on time and accurately. This job tracks the financial impact of inventory levels and frequently communicates cross functionally with internal teams. Responsibilities Researches and resolves count variances to ensure accurate inventory records and identify potential areas of improvement in the process. Moves inventory locations as needed to maintain efficient and compliant operations. Manages the daily returns process both physically in the warehouse and in CRM. Reviews, processes and intervenes on all recall notices for products. Transfers products to Emergency Drug Response Program (EDRP) sites in Distrack and ships to sites using Varsity. Tracks and reports scrap levels in order to compile month-end Scrap, Morgue, and Variance reports. Provides Finance a final report. Identifies needs and ships proper return packaging to customers in order for a successful return of product. Handles expired product return from vendors and creates Debit Memos using Distrack and MIF Toolbars. Qualifications Strong written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred 1-2 years of operations experience preferred High school diploma or GED preferred Driving material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider Previous Inventory experience desired Excellent problem-solving skills Comfortable with extensive computer use Ability to operate quickly and accurately in a distribution environment What is expected of you and others at this level Adheres and drives the Safety Culture in the facility Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods Adheres to all quality guidelines Drives On-Time Shipping through inventory management Works under moderate degree of supervision Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.
