Onsite Benefits Verification Specialist

Responsibilities A person in this role is responsible for taking calls and outreach from health care professionals at doctor's offices or hospitals, and for communicating directly with health insurance plans regarding benefits coverage. The role involves calling facilities to obtain missing information, verifying benefits for each patient case in queue, and identifying any additional actions needed, such as copay, prior authorization, appeals, or appointments. Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Tampa, FL. Pay and Benefits Pay range: $23.00 – $23.00 per hour.
