We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant with experience with UKG to join a team on a part-time contract assignment lasting approximately 8 to 12 weeks. This role offers a hybrid schedule with 3 to 4 onsite days each week and will support daily HR operations in a fast-moving environment. The position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable handling sensitive employee documentation, and confident working across several HR systems while assisting with ongoing team projects.
Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the human resources team, ensuring records, documents, and routine tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing employment paperwork and verifying required documentation.
• Complete I-9 reviews and related compliance steps with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Use multiple HR platforms and internal tools to enter, update, and maintain employee information.
• Partner with colleagues in different time zones to help keep HR processes moving efficiently across teams.
• Contribute to project-based work connected to an HR system implementation while also supporting regular department needs.
• Assist with pre-employment screening coordination and other pre-employment activities as needed.
• Help maintain organized HR files, track outstanding items, and respond to general administrative requests from the team.
• Prior experience in a human resources support or HR assistant role is required.• Hands-on experience with onboarding administration and employment documentation is needed.
• Familiarity with I-9 verification processes is strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with spreadsheets and HR data are required.
• Ability to learn and navigate multiple HRIS and administrative systems effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage several priorities at once.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Adaptability, sound judgment, and a proactive mindset in a changing work environment.
