Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Monroe, WA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts per week | 36 hours per week | Every other weekend requirement | 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Emergency Department setting, managing a standard ER patient population including trauma, psych, and fast-track cases
• Perform triage using ESI levels and maintain a patient ratio of 1:4
• Operate ventilators as needed prior to patient transport to the ICU
• Read and interpret telemetry strips
• Float across ED and inpatient units as needed
• Work into holiday staff rotation as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Washington State or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Active TNCC certification required
• Active ENPC or PALS certification required
• Proficiency with EMR systems; experience with CareView a plus

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse or RN Shift Coordinator experience preferred
• Level 3 or higher trauma center experience
• Experience with psychiatric holds and diverse patient populations including psych and corrections patients
