COMMERCIAL PROJECT MANAGER ROLEPosition OverviewThe Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project coordination from startto finish, including managing construction issues, tracking progress, and resolving any projectrelated challenges. This includes communication with field personnel and superintendents,ensuring adherence to schedules, and overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from design andpermits to material delivery and installation. The role involves attending project meetings,reviewing RFIs, managing work orders and purchase orders, and ensuring accurate materiallists. Additionally, the Project Manager tracks job profitability, prepares progress reports,schedules inspections, and handles billing. Effective communication and close coordination withthe team are essential.Project Manager ResponsibilitiesIdentify, track, manage, resolve, and communicate project issues during constructionincluding documenting site observations and managing applicable construction punchlist to resolution.Communication with field personnel and Field ManagerRetains full project responsibility for coordination and schedule.Oversee project progression from inception to completion including design permits,material delivery, labor planning, field installation, etc.Attends project related meetings, coordination efforts, etc., as needed.Order All CAD/Water FlowDraft/Review All RFIs.Reviews work orders/purchase orders, prepare and maintain project schedule.• Communicate between superintendents and provide completed billing weekly via email. (Billing reminders will be sent bi-weekly) • Review material lists before they are delivered to verify quantities and types are correct. Modify material lists as needed due to excess or insufficient amounts on production products. • Pay/Schedule inspections as needed • Track Inspections And Communicate Results Accordingly • Pay/Schedule Pick-Up of all plans and permits including preparation of plan submittals as needed. • Track job profitability weekly. Make profit/progress reports for general foreman and Department Manager. • Oversee Commercial Designers schedule and communicate regularly for schedule updates. Schedule and Coordinate job walks as needed for Surveys (Survey’s generally completed by Designer by may be needed to be performed by Project Manager) • Any other tasks deemed necessary by TDI ManagementSkills and QualificationsNicet I Certification Minimum or Willingness to Complete Nicet I Develops professional expertise by complying with company policies and proceduresWorks on problems of moderate scope where analyzing situations or data requires a review on various factorsExercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actionNormally receives general instructions on routine work with detailed instructions on new projects or assignments #J-18808-Ljbffr
