Dental AssistantWe are looking for a full-time qualified Dental Assistant to join our premiere dental practice! The right applicant will have experience preparing general dentistry patients, ensuring that they are comfortable and offering another set of hands for procedures. Assistants must help Dentists to clearly see problems and changes within a patient's mouth. This often requires taking x-rays of the bone structure of a patient's jaw, as well as taking photographs of the teeth.ResponsibilitiesHelp Dentists prepare for procedures by having the necessary tools sterilized and in placeHelp keep a patient's mouth clean and dry during procedures and hand Dentists the necessary tools at the appropriate timePatient education; explain procedures and discuss treatment progress and plansThis position will include all aspects of clinical dental careRequirementsPrevious dental chairside assisting is preferredPositive attitude and enthusiasm for the workdayExcellent customer service skills with an outgoing, people friendly personalityThe ideal applicant will display and demonstrate excellent communication skills with staff and patientsDesire to learn new skills and expand your potentialCoronal Polishing & Pit/Fissure Sealants Certifications preferredCompensation Package and BenefitsCompensation will be comprised of a base salary that is commensurate with experience.
