Business Analyst / Product Owner Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid 2 to 4 Days Onsite) Duration: 12-Month Contract (06/19/2026 06/19/2027) Interview: Virtual round Client Note Local only & LinkedIn with Location Former World Bank experience is a must (Between 2022 to 2026 only) Looking for Business Analysts, Product Owners, or BA/PO hybrid profiles Strong Azure DevOps experience required SAFe/Agile certifications preferred but practical experience is acceptable Fast-moving project with immediate onboarding expectations Candidates must be self-starters and capable of contributing with minimal ramp-up time About the Role The World Bank Group is seeking Business Analysts and Product Owners to support a major upgrade of its procurement platform within the STEP (Systematic Tracking of Exchanges in Procurement) program. The initiative consists of multiple Agile delivery pods, and resources will be assigned based on project priorities and team needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Agile product environments, strong business analysis and product ownership capabilities, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Required 6+ years of Business Analysis and/or Product Ownership experience Strong Agile and Scrum delivery experience Azure DevOps experience User Story Creation and Acceptance Criteria Development Backlog Management and Prioritization Requirements Gathering and Documentation Stakeholder Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration UAT Support and Defect Management Process Mapping and Business Process Analysis Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills Ability to work independently in fast-paced delivery environments Skills Previous World Bank Group experience (Must) Product Owner experience in enterprise application programs SAFe Certification or SAFe Agile experience Procurement systems experience Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives Financial services or international development organization experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Akaasa Technologies
