We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Analyst to join the Global Payroll organization. The Senior Payroll Analyst will report to the US Payroll Manager and will primarily support approximately 200300 regular employees in Mexico, while also assisting with US payroll operations as time permits. The Senior Payroll Analyst will be a key member of an ongoing transformation of the payroll solution and service delivery model within the Mexico region. As part of this transformation, the Senior Payroll Analyst will help drive process standardization, payroll controls, risk reduction, operational efficiency, and improved employee experience across the Mexico region. Along with key project activities, the Senior Payroll Analyst will process the day-to-day payroll for Mexico and help build an efficient, consistent, and compliant payroll function. Responsibilities include delivering standardized payroll services within local regulatory requirements, resolving escalated employee payroll inquiries, and executing routine payroll activities in partnership with internal stakeholders and external payroll vendors. This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR Operations, People Business Partners, Benefits, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and IT, as well as external payroll vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Manage payroll data and ensure accurate payroll processing for Mexico employees.
• Support and manage the outsourced payroll vendor.
• Execute accurate and timely Mexico payrolls in partnership with the outsourced payroll vendor.
• Ensure all regulatory taxes are filed accurately and timely according to applicable deadlines.
• Develop robust payroll processes, checklists, and controls to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Partner with Finance and Internal Audit teams to ensure payroll audit requirements are met.
• Provide timely, high-quality customer service and support to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
• Manage regional payroll providers and ensure delivery against service-level commitments.
• Identify and escalate payroll vendor performance issues as appropriate.
• Drive process improvements and automation across payroll platforms and processes to reduce manual activities and operational risk.
• Participate in testing of policy, process, and system changes to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Support SOX and regional audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coach, support, and develop team members, including cross-training activities.
• Manage and participate in special payroll projects as needed.
• Support US payroll day-to-day operations as required.
• Partner with US Payroll teams on payroll implementation and transformation projects.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Payroll Analyst processing payroll in Mexico, with additional US payroll experience.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Mexico payroll processing.
• Experience working and collaborating in a cross-functional, global environment.
• Experience working with and managing payroll vendors.
• Experience supporting regional, multilingual, and multi-country regulatory environments preferred.
• Ability to speak and write fluently in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with stock-based compensation programs as they relate to payroll processing preferred.
• Knowledge of Personal Income Tax and basic local payroll regulations in Mexico.
• Understanding of General Ledger (GL) processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and perform highly detail-oriented tasks.
• Experience with case management tools preferred.
• Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Strong team-player mentality and ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• BA/BS degree preferred.
