Marketing Intern - Score Cape Fear (un-paid)

Are you creative, hardworking, and looking to gain hands-on experience working on a variety of marketing projects? We are seeking a marketing intern who can contribute fresh ideas, create content, and help increase small business client mentoring requests from within the Cape Fear region. Reporting directly to the Marketing Committee chair, the ideal candidate has a growing understanding of brand marketing, social media, and digital marketing strategies, as well as an interest in working to benefit the small business ecosystem in and around Wilmington NC.

Job Duties

• Play a role throughout the marketing cycle in positioning, messaging, and storytelling
• Contribute to marketing campaigns that further Score's awareness and increase new client requests in the Cape Fear region
• Specifically, access and customize Score national resources and place content on Score Cape Fear social channels (work directly with Score social media agency), email marketing and website
• Support promotional efforts for Score Cape Fear seminars and outreach activities

Skills and qualifications

• Curious, fast-learning, and resourceful
• Organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of social media platforms and basic design/content development experience
