Strategic Project Manager, US Oncology Medical Affairs

AstraZeneca seeks a Strategic Project Manager for its US Oncology Medical Affairs team to lead cross-functional initiatives from conception through delivery. The role involves managing project timelines, coordinating with franchise teams, and supporting business planning cycles while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of multiple projects across Franchise and Indication teams
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans aligned with business goals using project management tools
• Manage timelines for business planning cycles and coordinate the Integrated Medical Affairs Plan
• Facilitate priority meetings with franchise and indication teams; track decisions and action items
• Prepare project documentation, trackers, and executive-level presentations for stakeholder communication

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.)
• Demonstrated project management experience in medical affairs, oncology, or pharmaceutical environments
• Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working in matrixed, cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience managing budgets and timelines for multiple concurrent projects
• Ability to leverage AI tools to optimize processes and workflows

Compensation: $125,000–$187,500 base
