Holiday coverage required.

Requirements

• Registered/certified CT Technologist required.
• Two years previous experience preferred.
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Satisfactory completion of formal radiology technology training in an AMA approved school.
• Registered by the ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Perform required radiographic procedures under the direction of the Radiologist.
• Operate CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Position and immobilize patients accurately using supportive devices.
• Administer contrast media as ordered, both orally and/or via IV.
• Ensure quality of images by reviewing on-screen results and making necessary adjustments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination areas.
• Transport patients according to their physical abilities related to the exams.
