Job Summary

Our client is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a Primary Care or Internal Medicine setting. The role involves supporting clinical functions through tasks like phlebotomy, patient rooming, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily phlebotomy tasks.
• Rooming of patients and taking vital signs.
• Conduct lab work and urine dip tests.
• Administer vaccines and provide administrative support such as handling referrals and refills.

Qualifications

• Active WA DOH CMA certification (Must be fully active, pending certs not accepted).
• Current BLS certification.
• 1-2+ years of experience in Primary Care or Internal Medicine.
• Experience with daily phlebotomy and EMR systems (Athena EMR experience is a plus).
• Reliability, strong customer service, and emotional intelligence.

Skills

• Technical Skills: Experience with Athena EMR (bonus, not required).
• Soft Skills: High reliability, strong customer service, and emotional intelligence.

Additional Requirements

• Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexible start times between 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM.
• Potential for one Saturday shift per month from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
• Includes a thorough 4-week training program with virtual onboarding and clinical shadowing.
