What You'll Be Doing

• Executing thorough patient evaluations, initiating diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies
• Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (as per credentialing)
• Guiding patients and families on prevention, wellness practices, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies aligned with your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic disease management
• Working within interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, connected care
• Documenting meticulously and precisely in electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Nevada
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to attain within 90 days)
