Maintenance Technician

Put your expertise to work! A Piqua manufacturer has a 2nd shift opening for an experienced Maintenance Tech @ $23 to $28 per hour, based on experience and shift premium. Tech will maintain operation of all equipment and facility, and perform preventative maintenance tasks.

Scheduled Work Hours:

2nd Shift Hours: 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday

Duties to include :

· Install and maintain production machines & facility equipment.

· Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment in service.

· Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.

· Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

· Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

· Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

· Perform regular preventative & scheduled maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.

· Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.

· Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

· Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Tech Skill Requirements:

· Industrial 480 Volt electrical application.

· PLC/CNC Programming experience

· Mechanically Inclined

· Pneumatics

· Hydraulics

· Experience with shop tools, i.e. Lathes, Bridgeport, etc.

Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Ability to read blueprints.

· Experience in forklift operation.

· Working knowledge of mold repair and installation preferred.

· Working knowledge of industrial and residential electricity.

· Including hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, plumbing, & HVAC.
