Job Title: Financial Clearance Coordinator Location: Boardman, OH Compensation: $48,000–$58,000 Benefits: This position is eligible for benefits offered by our client. Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, -flexible start time between 7:30–8:30 AM About Our Client: Addison Group is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to identify a Financial Clearance Coordinator to support and oversee patient access and financial clearance operations. Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced healthcare revenue cycle professional to oversee financial clearance activities, support team performance, and help ensure patients receive accurate and timely insurance and financial guidance. This role combines team leadership with hands-on patient access and revenue cycle responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support financial clearance staff through onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management. Review productivity and operational results, including insurance verification and point-of-service collection activity, to promote accuracy and efficiency. Monitor changes in payer requirements and healthcare regulations and help ensure team processes remain compliant. Analyze recurring front-end billing issues and work with the team to identify opportunities to prevent avoidable denials. Evaluate and recommend improvements to patient access procedures and workflows while maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory standards. Step in to perform financial clearance and patient access functions as needed to maintain smooth daily operations. Qualifications & Requirements: 3+ years of experience in patient access, financial clearance, or a related healthcare revenue cycle function. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare business office procedures, insurance verification, and patient financial processes. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment. CRCR certification is preferred but not required.
