Maintenance Supervisor - 3rd Shift | Youngstown, OH | ($75K-$90K Total Comp with bonus and overtime)

Location: Youngstown, OH

Shift: 3rd Shift (Overnight)

Pay: $25-$28/hr to start

Expected Total Compensation: $75,000-$90,000 annually

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead 3rd shift operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Youngstown, OH . This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work alongside your team to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and production efficiency.



What You'll Do

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team on 3rd shift
• Assign and prioritize maintenance tasks to support production needs
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repairs as needed
• Inspect machinery and monitor performance to prevent downtime
• Lead preventive maintenance programs
• Manage attendance, scheduling, and employee performance
• Coach, train, and develop team members
• Enforce company policies, including progressive discipline
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred
• Strong hands-on maintenance experience (mechanical & electrical)
• Experience with hydraulics, PLCs, and three-phase electrical systems
• Proven ability to lead preventive maintenance programs
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
• Ability to work overnight/3rd shift consistently

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Ability to stand and work on the production floor for extended periods
• Ability to wear required PPE at all times

Safety Responsibilities

• Lead by example with all safety policies and procedures
• Ensure team compliance with PPE requirements
• Identify and report hazards immediately
• Participate in and lead safety initiatives and meetings

Additional Requirements

• Drug testing required (pre-employment, random, post-accident, and for-cause)
