This is a full-time on-site role for a motivated Junior Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer who wants to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic job shop manufacturing environment. The position will support senior engineers, machinists and production staff in developing, improving, and documenting manufacturing processes. Candidate will be comfortable working with high-mix, low-volume production and will play a key role in improving efficiency, quality, and throughput. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing and documenting manufacturing processes for new and existing parts Help create process sheets, work instructions, and routings Generate CAD drawings and product structures to accurately match and clearly communicate customer requirements. Define manufacturing tolerances Support tooling and fixture design for machining and fabrication operations Work with machinists and programmers to improve efficiency and workflow Assist with troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions Participate in manufacturability reviews for incoming jobs Help identify opportunities for cycle time reduction and cost improvement Ensure processes follow company quality and safety standards Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or near completion) Internship, co-op, or hands-on experience in manufacturing or machining preferred Basic knowledge of CNC machining, milling, turning, or fabrication processes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Understanding of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 is a plus. CAD/CAM experience is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn Good communication and teamwork skill Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week Schedule: Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekends as needed Ability to Commute: Medford, NY (Required) Ability to Relocate: Medford, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person Job Placement professionals need not reply.
