Job Description
Headfarmer is partnering with a large manufacturing company headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona! We are hiring an interim Controller who is available right away and can commit to a 3+ month engagement to help with the following: global consolidations, transfer pricing, month end ownership and process improvement.

\n \nWork model: hybrid- 2 to 3 days per week in office
\n \nPay: up to $85 per hour
\n \nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury, and financial reporting \n
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements \n
- Manage global financial consolidations across multiple legal entities and international subsidiaries, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and consolidated reporting \n
- Oversee intercompany accounting and transfer pricing processes, ensuring intercompany transactions are appropriately recorded, pricing methodologies are consistently applied, and documentation supports compliance with applicable tax regulations \n
- Partner with tax advisors and international finance teams on transfer pricing policies, intercompany agreements and related compliance and reporting requirements \n
- Spearhead process improvement and automation initiatives across accounting and finance departments \n
- Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and other regulatory reporting requirements \n
- Mentor and develop the accounting team while collaborating cross-functionally with finance, tax, legal, and other business leaders \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA preferred \n
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or similar role \n
- Demonstrated experience with multi-entity accounting, global consolidations and transfer pricing \n
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, along with strong ERP software experience \n
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and familiarity with international accounting and reporting considerations \n
- Excellent mentorship, leadership and communication experience \n
