Title: Facilities Technician Location: Jersey Shore, PA Reports To: Facilities ManagerSchedule: Monday - Friday; 7am - 3:30pm Job DescriptionTerrapin is looking for a Facilities Technician to join our growing company. As a Clinton County, Pennsylvania based cannabis company, Terrapin is a pioneer in the emerging industry. Retail expansion in Pennsylvania have created a need for a Facilities Technician. The ideal candidate for the Facilities Technician position will possess a wide ranging, yet specific set of skills and experience. This role requires a clean driving record for driving a company vehicle and/or using your own personal vehicle for business travel, with mileage reimbursement provided for personal vehicle usage. They will be able to arrive at work consistently on time and manage their own time during the course of their workday. They will be comfortable working in public spaces, around other employees, customers, and contractors and maintaining a professional and as unobtrusive as possible presence during all service. They will need to be able and willing to communicate, respond quickly to new directions, and be conscientious in record keeping during the course of rendering service at various Terrapin locations.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDrywall patching and repair Painting and staining various mediums Ability to follow all sanitation and safety guidelines including wearing proper PPE such as scrubs, hairnets, etc. Perform basic plumbing maintenance, such as replacing bathroom fixtures, toilet wax rings, diagnosing leaks, etc Perform basic electrical maintenance such as safely replacing light fixtures and bulbs, soldering, cutting and stripping wire, etc. Performs routine maintenance when necessary Troubleshoots equipment and machines Groundskeeping such as winter maintenance and lawn careAssists in cleaning and and custodial duties (if required)Performs all other duties as assigned Follows compliance and security guidelines and proceduresQualifications and RequirementsKnowledge of general carpentry and repair for commercial and residential settingsAbility to use hand tools and power tools Team player who can also work independentlyExcellent organizational and time management skills Ability to travel to difference facilities within PAExperience with metal and wood fabrication preferred Experience with surface equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, etc.Comfortable working at elevated heights of 15 feet or higherPerform job duties in an efficient and safe mannerBasic computer skillsPerform repetitive tasks in a timely mannerMust be able to pass state-mandated background checksMust have a valid driver's licenseHVAC experience preferred but not requiredPhysical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be able to climb ladders, bend or crawl into awkward spaces.
