Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active NM Speech-Language Pathology license required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
• Proficient in creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Comfortable serving students at elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct assessments, write comprehensive reports, and participate in eligibility meetings
• Develop individualized goals and monitor student progress
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate strategies
• Engage families and caregivers to support student growth both in and out of the classroom
• Document services and prepare reports in compliance with school and district guidelines
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings as required
