Minimum Education Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. Residency training program in obstetrics and gynecology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). Fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine. License & Certifications Board certification in maternal-fetal medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AOBOG). Active and unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.
