We are seeking a full-time attorney to join our Atlanta-based team. This role is ideal for someone tenacious, detail-oriented, and passionate about civil rights. The attorney will manage cases from creation through resolution, conduct legal research, draft documents, and ensure compliance with review and citation standards. Requirements Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to any State Bar. At least three years of experience in employment law and trial practice. Strong analytical, research, and writing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Key Responsibilities Manage cases from initial consultation through final resolution, including motion practice, hearings, and trials. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Follow firm guidelines for document review and citation formatting. Maintain organized case files and update clients regularly. Ensure cases are worked thoroughly, and deadlines are met. Log daily and weekly billing hours in accordance with firm billing ethics. Track time and key billing metrics using the firm’s Excel tracker. Ensure law license is current and compliant with state bar requirements. Collate documents for strategy sessions and upload to appropriate platforms Attend training and team meetings as scheduled. Handle unsubscribe requests and intake/advocate emails as needed. Complete tasks and client updates in a timely manner Performance Metrics Minimum 40 billable hours per week. Monthly replenishment of credit accounts totaling at least $20,000. PTO may be used for vacation, personal days, or sick leave, and must be scheduled in accordance with firm policy and subject to adequate coverage and approval.
