Sr. Counsel, Procurement and Supply Chain

Senior Counsel position supporting AbbVie's Procurement and Supply Chain legal needs. The role involves negotiating complex commercial agreements, providing counsel on transactional matters, and partnering with senior management and external stakeholders across multiple business areas.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements across multiple business areas
- Provide legal counsel on procurement, manufacturing, licensing, and acquisition transactions
- Identify and resolve legal issues for Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain organizations
- Represent AbbVie externally with customers, suppliers, and competitors
- Select and direct outside counsel on assigned matters and projects
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from ABA-accredited law school and active state bar certification
- Minimum 5+ years corporate or general transactional law experience
- Demonstrated success negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Strong legal, analytical, and problem-solving skills with negotiation expertise
- Knowledge of procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare industry beneficial
- Excellent client communication and drafting abilities
