NORR Kitchen creates elevated private dining experiences for intimate gatherings throughout Southern California. Every event is thoughtfully curated to feel effortless, refined, and deeply personal. From private residences to luxury venues, our team delivers hospitality that allows clients to remain fully present while we manage every detail behind the scenes.

We're looking for a dependable, hospitality-driven Craft Bartender to become our preferred in-house bartender for recurring weekly events.

The Opportunity

This is a project-based 1099 contractor position supporting premium private events throughout Southern California.

While our specialty is intimate gatherings averaging 6–30 guests , our events occasionally expand into larger luxury celebrations and brand experiences.

You'll prepare and serve NORR's signature craft cocktails using our curated recipes, presentation standards, and service systems. We provide the recipes, menus, shopping direction, and event details—you bring professionalism, hospitality, and flawless execution.

Projects are scheduled as opportunities arise, with consistent weekly work available for the right long-term team member.

Responsibilities

• Execute NORR signature craft cocktails with consistency and attention to detail.
• Deliver elevated, guest-focused hospitality throughout each event.
• Arrive prepared, punctual, and event-ready.
• Set up, maintain, and break down a polished bar experi
• ence.
• Follow established recipes, timelines, and brand standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory throughout service.
• Collaborate professionally with chefs, servers, and event managers.
• Represent the NORR brand with professionalism, confidence, and discretion.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or craft cocktail experience required.
• Strong hospitality mindset with exceptional guest service.
• Professional appearance and communication.
• Reliable transportation.
• Availability for evenings and weekends.
• Comfortable traveling throughout Southern California.

Travel radius is flexible and will be discussed based on your location and availability.

• Must be eligible to work as a 1099 independent contractor.

Compensation

• Starting rate of $25-35/hour pending experience and resume
• Performance review after approximately 8 weeks with the opportunity for a compensation increase based on consistency, professionalism, guest experience, and overall contribution to the team.
• Project-by-project scheduling with recurring weekly opportunities.
• All recipes, menus, cocktail specifications, and event direction provided by NORR.
