Assistant Property Manager

Assistant Property Manager
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay: $21/hour

The Assistant Property Manager supports the Property Manager with the daily operations of the property and is responsible for assuming management duties in their absence. This role also provides an opportunity to develop skills for advancement into a Property Manager position.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and organize resident, vendor, payable, and work order files.
Prepare and process move-in, move-out, recertification, application, and other resident documents.
Create, track, and distribute daily work orders; escalate emergency work orders as needed.
Assist with rent collection, rent reviews, discrepancies, deposits, and property management system updates.
Handle daily mail, post office runs, office supply inventory, and general office administration.
Assist applicants and residents, including handling complaints, notices, and other resident-related matters.
Support the Property Manager with daily property operations and assume responsibilities during their absence.
Follow company policies, safety procedures, Fair Housing requirements, and required training.
Work collaboratively with property management and maintenance teams.
Participate in company quality improvement and accreditation programs.
