Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a Certified Payroll Specialist to support a large workforce of approximately 500 employees across union and non‑union environments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the complexity of construction payroll, prevailing wage compliance, certified payroll reporting, and partnering with operations teams in a fast‑paced environment. What You’ll Do Process weekly payroll for approximately 500 employees across multiple projects Review and validate time entry, job cost coding, classifications, overtime, and shift differentials Prepare and submit certified payroll reports (WH‑347) Administer prevailing wage requirements and ensure compliance with project specifications Maintain union wage rates, fringes, dues, and collective bargaining agreement requirements Support OCIP and CCIP reporting and insurance program administration Reconcile payroll data and research discrepancies Prepare payroll reports for management and project teams Partner with HR, Project Management, Operations, and Accounting to resolve payroll and compliance issues Maintain audit‑ready payroll documentation and support compliance initiatives What We’re Looking For 2+ years of construction payroll experience Hands‑on experience with certified payroll reporting and prevailing wage compliance Experience supporting both union and non‑union payroll environments Strong understanding of WH‑347 reporting requirements Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables (required) and VLOOKUPs (preferred) Experience with payroll systems such as ADP or similar platforms Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Stable work history and commitment to accuracy Why Consider This Opportunity?
