Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and functional limitations. Develop and implement tailored care plans that incorporate evidence‑based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics. Provide hands‑on therapy sessions focusing on pain relief, injury rehabilitation, and functional improvement. Coordinate discharge planning with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home or community care settings. Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention strategies, and home care routines to support ongoing recovery. Maintain accurate documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including progress notes and treatment plans. Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices by engaging in continuous professional development. Qualifications Valid licensure or registration as a licensed Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania. Experience working in acute care, inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and rehabilitation techniques such as trigger point therapy. Familiarity with documentation and patient management. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
