Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Infectious Disease Physician to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health . South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state-of-the‑art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery. Opportunity Details Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient HIV and infectious disease care, including services at Jacobi’s designated AIDS/ID Center. Perform thorough patient evaluations, physical examinations, and develop individualized, evidence‑based treatment plans. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic infectious conditions in a high‑volume academic medical setting. Order, interpret, and integrate diagnostic and therapeutic testing to guide clinical decision‑making. Prescribe and manage appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment regimens. Collaborate with seven Infectious Disease Attendings and multidisciplinary care teams to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care. Educate, mentor, and supervise Advanced Practice Providers, Residents, and Medical Students. Support the academic mission through teaching and clinical instruction as part of an Albert Einstein College of Medicine appointment. Maintain continuity of care through flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
