Maintenance Specialist

Our client, a manufacturing organization dedicated to quality and efficiency, is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to join their team. As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Specialist

Location: Appleton, WI

Pay Range: $25-$30

Shift: 6am-2pm

What's the Job?

• Provide emergency and scheduled repairs of production equipment to ensure continuous manufacturing operations.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs on production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance tasks accurately.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance to optimize machine performance and longevity.
• Assist with plumbing, carpentry, HVAC repairs, and other building maintenance as needed.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience with paper converting or production machines.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and be available for call-ins during off hours.
• Initial forklift certification with renewal every 3 years and annual aerial lift certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
