Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position at a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU experience and a background in large-scale, high-volume hospital environments. Requirements Active RN license — GA state or Compact license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of PCU or IMCU experience in a similarly sized facility Experience in high-acuity, high-volume, large-scale hospital environments required — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered Demonstrated ability to manage critical, fast-paced clinical situations Responsibilities 28-bed PCU/IMCU unit (10CD Intermediate Coronary Care) within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center Cardiac patient population including STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiac tamponade/surgery (CTS), and chest pain (C/P) Patient ratio of 1:3–4 Cardiac drip management including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors May also be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit at lower acuity levels Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week 4 weekend shifts required per month Block scheduling is not approved on most units No on-call requirements This is a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center serving a complex, diverse patient population with significant volume and case severity Local candidates are accepted for this position Skills checklist must match the PCU specialty Copies of current certifications and active license required for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-717509 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
