Job Title: PCU Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Care Duration: Full-time Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar sized facility License: Valid Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Documented PCU experience Description: Seeking a qualified nurse with documented experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sized facility. The unit consists of 28 beds with a cardiac patient population. Nurse-patient ratio is 1:3-4. Experience with STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors is required. Nurses may also be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit that have lower acuity levels. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. This position requires current BLS and ACLS certifications.
