Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Duration: 48-hour contract Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Active Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - 2 years of nursing experience in an ICU setting - BLS and ACLS certifications Description: Responsible for the care of critically ill patients. Patients may present with conditions including sepsis, heart failure, and hypertensive emergencies. Experience in managing respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, and substance abuse is required. Knowledge of treatment protocols for diabetes and managing heparin drips is essential. Strong assessment and communication skills are necessary for patient interactions. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient outcomes.
