Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse position available in Lebanon, New Hampshire. This role involves providing care for patients with a range of cardiovascular, surgical, and medical needs, focusing on monitoring and supporting patients requiring intermediate levels of care. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: NH RN License or Compact License (Proof of State Residency Required), BLS, ACLS. No minimum years of experience required.
• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid NH RN license or Compact license, BLS, ACLS, and a minimum of 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience in a progressive care or step-down unit.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry, post-surgical patient care, complex wounds, invasive monitoring, and administration of vasoactive medications is advantageous.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position is for a 48-bed step-down level of care unit specializing in cardiology, electrophysiology (EP), and cardiac surgical patients. Typical patient ratios are 1:3 during the day shift and 1:4-5 during night shifts, depending on patient acuity. The unit handles various procedures including hemodynamic monitoring, invasive blood pressure monitoring through arterial lines, and management of complex wounds and post-surgical drains.
