Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

An established employee health and primary care clinic in Cherry Hill, New Jersey is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a part-time contract assignment. Practice Setting

Providers will work in an employer-sponsored healthcare clinic focused on providing convenient access to comprehensive primary care services. The clinic offers preventive care, biometric screenings, health coaching, chronic disease management, and treatment of common illnesses.

This practice model emphasizes quality care and wellness-focused medicine while supporting employees and their families through accessible healthcare services.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients ages 6+
• Evaluate and treat acute illnesses and injuries
• Manage chronic medical conditions
• Conduct annual wellness visits and preventive screenings
• Perform well-woman examinations
• Manage minor behavioral health concerns
• Deliver patient education and health coaching
• Support occupational health and workers' compensation cases
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans within scope of practice
• Document patient encounters within Athena EMR

Schedule Weekly Schedule

• Monday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Additional Coverage Needs

• November 14, 2026 (Saturday): 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• December 12, 2026 (Saturday): 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Providers who cannot cover every scheduled day or Saturday shift may still be considered.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: November 2026
• Duration: Approximately 2 months
• Consistent Monday-Thursday coverage preferred

Patient Volume & Support

• Average 10-12 patients per day

  • 2 Physicians

Qualifications Required

• Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP)
• Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner License
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of FNP experience
• Recent outpatient primary care experience within the last 2 years
• Experience managing acute and chronic conditions
• Experience performing well-woman examinations
