SAP FI Lead / Functional Consultant

job summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FI Lead to join our Business & Technology Integration practice. In this role, you will lead solution design discussions, translate complex business needs into robust SAP FICO configurations, and architect data integration pathways connecting SAP with enterprise financial systems.

responsibilities:

• Lead functional solution design and end-to-end implementation for SAP FI modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Product Costing.
• Configure and support SAP FICO key structures, including Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Cost Accounting, and Inventory Management.
• Develop functional specifications for data integration tools connecting SAP FICO with external enterprise financial systems (Oracle Financials and Oracle Project Accounting).
• Collaborate with software developers and IT stakeholders to test and validate cross-system data flows across manufacturing and procurement environments.

qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

3 to 5 years of hands-on functional experience in SAP FICO design, configuration, and deployment.

In-depth understanding of financial accounting principles, budget control, Product Costing, and General Ledger accounting.

Demonstrated experience developing functional specifications for complex integrations between SAP and non-SAP financial systems.

ITAR compliance requirements - no sponsorship allowed

Ability to work aligned with Pacific Time Zone (PST) hours and travel periodically as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with SAP S/4HANA General Ledger.

Functional knowledge of SAP MM integration for purchase order management and spend tracking.

Experience in manufacturing environments (in-house and outsourced).
