Senior Helpers is looking for a Scheduling Coordinator to join our team! This is a fast-paced, people-focused position responsible for coordinating caregiver schedules and helping ensure our clients receive the consistent, dependable care they need.

Our Scheduling Coordinator will be a vital member of our daily operations and an important link between our clients, caregivers, and office team. If you are organized, a strong communicator, enjoy solving problems, and can stay calm when things change, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

• Maintain the Company schedule at least three days in advance, identifying open shifts and potential staffing issues before they become urgent.
• Assign caregivers based on client needs, availability, qualifications, and preferences.
• Respond to caregiver call-outs, open shifts, tardiness, and other scheduling changes.
• Help find coverage and maintain continuity of care.
• Communicate schedule changes with clients, families, and caregivers.
• Respond to client and caregiver questions and concerns.
• Maintain accurate scheduling and attendance records.
• Assist with monitoring overtime, caregiver utilization, and schedule efficiency.
• Work with the Scheduling Manager and Care Team to resolve staffing and scheduling challenges.
• Participate in the on-call rotation as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable learning and using computer software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet.
• Healthcare staffing experience preferred, but not required.
