Our client offers stability, growth and a friendly environment!Why Apply to Quality Inspector:Direct hire opportunityWork for a company that has been expanding and improving their machining capabilities for the past 35 years to remain at the forefront of development.2nd shift hours (4:00pm-12:30am)$25.00-$27.00/hr (our client will negotiate based on experience!)Comprehensive benefits once hired on (medical, dental, vision, life, accident insurance, 401K, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation and holidays).Great location in Libertyville.Duties/Responsibilities of a Quality InspectorComplete first article, in-process, and final inspection of products.Perform dimensional inspections on product utilizing a variety of metrology tools and gauging equipment.Complete all necessary documentation and certifications throughout the quality process (First Article Inspection Report, Non-Conformance Reports, PPAP, and other customer-required documents).Track and report on discrepancies & organize corrective actions based on findings.Participate in internal and supplier auditsQualifications of a Quality Inspector:Strong background handling dimensional quality inspection of products within a manufacturing environment (plastics industry is a plus, but not required!)Skilled in setting up and programming CMM preferred.Strong background working with inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, thread gauges, optical comparators, vision inspection systems).Knowledge and experience with GD&T.To apply, email resume to View email address on click.appcast.io
