Bookkeeper

Are you an experienced accounting professional with a passion for accuracy and organization? Our client is seeking a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of bookkeeping duties, including managing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and journal entries.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and process all day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Manage and process payroll in a timely and accurate manner
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions using appropriate journal entries
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate, up-to-date financial records
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
