Service Sales Specialist

Service Sales Specialist role focused on developing new business for analytical instruments across North America. The position involves identifying sales opportunities, managing service contracts, and achieving sales quotas while supporting existing and new customers in the life sciences market.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive new business opportunities for protein analysis instruments across North America
- Identify and qualify prospects through multiple channels including calls, emails, and social media
- Achieve specified service sales quota in assigned territory and maintain CRM database
- Consult with customers on business needs and provide accurate sales forecasting
- Monitor marketplace trends and competitor activities; report findings to Sales Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biological science; immunology coursework or experience preferred
- Understanding of life science research reagents market and Bio-Techne product portfolio
- Demonstrated sales experience in commercial, target-driven environment
- Ability to track ROI and KPIs; strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable making outbound sales calls and writing technical correspondence
Compensation: $44,300.00 - $72,950.00 base, plus commission based on individual performance
