Senior Service Sales Specialist

Leica Biosystems seeks a Senior Service Sales Specialist to drive annual service contract revenue and renewal targets across assigned U.S. territories. The role involves managing sales pipelines, converting warranty customers to service contracts, and collaborating with field teams to deliver customer solutions. Requires a bachelor's degree with 2+ years of sales pipeline management experience and proficiency with CRM platforms like Salesforce.
Responsibilities
- Manage service contract renewal, conversion, and new opportunity pipeline across full sales cycle
- Engage customers before warranty expiration to support contract renewals and conversions
- Position service offerings based on uptime, risk mitigation, and total cost of ownership
- Execute territory plans using CRM and quoting tools to track performance and forecast accurately
- Collaborate with Field Service Engineers and Service Coordination for customer delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years experience, or Master's degree with 0-2 years experience
- Sales pipeline management and revenue target achievement experience
- Foundational negotiation skills for pricing and service scope discussions
- Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel 10-15% overnight within assigned territory
Compensation: $85,280-$104,000 base; $109,280-$128,000 total target with sales incentive compensation
