Kitting Associate

Kitting Associate Chromalox, part of Spirax Group, provides electrical process heating and temperature management solutions. The Role As a kitting associate, you will accurately assemble and organize components into kits according to specified orders, ensuring all items meet quality and quantity standards before shipment. You will obtain daily production schedules, identify required materials, process materials to correct specifications, and package & label products. Upon packaging, you will move kits to the respective areas for warehouse sale. This position is located in La Vergne, Tennessee. Your Responsibilities Inspect incoming goods for damage and count accuracy. Stage components for assembly and reconcile kit components with work orders. Read bills of material, pick lists, or work orders to assemble kits according to specifications. Inspect components for defects, verify part numbers, lot codes, and expiration dates, and perform visual or dimensional checks. Reject or quarantine discrepant items through the NCM process. Follow Kanban replenishment points and outbound shipping, following packaging standards to prevent damage. Operate equipment and tools necessary for kitting. Work with team members to meet production schedules, support administrative tasks, and follow company policies and procedures. Provide recommendations for process improvements and maintain a positive work ethic. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Work on a production line and often stand for long periods while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements At least one year of professional working experience or related training. Strong communication skills and experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders. Ability to multitask. Experience following instructions and completing tasks independently.
