Quality Nurse Coordinator

Job Description Summary: \n Under limited supervision, the Quality Nurse Coordinator is responsible for the daily oversight and management of the Primary Stroke Center, the stroke program, and coordination of care for patients with stroke. This includes stroke program certification, creation of both staff and patient education tools, and participation in staff education, as well as oversight of interdisciplinary/interprofessional collaboration for optimal patient care and safety. The Stroke Quality Nurse Coordinator (QNC) is a recognized expert in his/her field. He/she adheres to all best practice processes implemented by department or division. The Stroke QNC exemplifies the Professional Practice Model. A key success factor is the ability to work collaboratively with all levels within the organization, across the LifeBridge system, and with our community partners.
