School Behavior Intervention Specialist

We are searching for a School Behavior Intervention Specialist in Albany, NY. The successful candidate must be a dynamic clinician with a strong clinical background and ability to work well with teams. The primary role is to provide consultation and behavioral support to students and classroom teams. Responsibilities Responsible for completing functional analysis and, as necessary, developing behavior intervention plans. Model the implementation of behavior intervention plans, support implementation, and train staff as needed. Become SCIP‑R trained, and serve as a SCIP‑R trainer. Facilitate staff and family training and special projects as needed. Requirements Graduate degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field. Specialized training, license or certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) preferred. At least 1 year of related experience, specifically with individuals with developmental disabilities and children in an educational setting.
