Job Description
The Desktop Support Specialist provides essential technical assistance to a medium-sized user base, ensuring smooth operation of hardware and software systems. This role involves on-site visits to troubleshoot issues, install software, maintain systems, and educate users on best practices, all while effectively managing support tickets through ServiceNow.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support and hardware troubleshooting to end-users
- Perform software installations and system maintenance tasks
- Provide user training to improve technology adoption and problem resolution
- Manage and resolve support tickets efficiently using ServiceNow
- Conduct on-site visits to address and resolve complex technical issues
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in desktop support
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Proven troubleshooting skills in hardware and software environments
